I'm a bad plant mommy

I'm a bad plant mommy. A few years ago I inherited a fern from a friend who was moving. It's one of those ferns that sheds like a Siberian Husky with mange. Every time I brush against it, it litters tiny, spikey leaves on my clean floor. I decided a while ago to get rid of it. The only problem is that I have an ethical problem throwing away a live plant. So, I decided to stop watering it.

I usually don't name my plants, but I made an exception for this one. I'm going to call it Terry, short for Terry Schiavo.
