I've given up my full name during the work week. Whether it's introducing myself or signing e-mails, I make it simple; you know who I am, you know what I'm doing here. For instance: "Hi, I'm Robert. Hi, I'm Betsy The Temp." Or Dear Robert, Jake is out of the office until Wednesday. I don't know about the timeline for the project.
